New Bookshelf

Since we moved into our house we have wanted a bookshelf for all of our entertainment equipment to set on. We knew that we wanted to have something put in so we went ahead and had the tv wired with the wires going thru the side wall.

It was a great idea until we figured out that we couldn't find anything inexpensive to fill the empty spot. So for the past year and a half we have had ugly wires hanging from the wall. That is until yesterday.

For the past month a handyman has been building/staining our custom bookshelf for the "wired wall." The shelf is sooooo much better than before! Here are some before and after pics.

Please ignore the crappy blue floor pad. We're crossing our fingers that the floor people will come out tomorrow to put the floors back down.
